Varsity Assistant Boys Coach, Freshman Assistant Girls Coach:
Erik Clapp (5th Season)

Coach Clapp joined the Wolves in 2016 to take over the Junior Varsity Boys team. He spent three seasons as the Head JV Boys Coach before moving roles and becoming the Varsity Assistant Coach in 2019 helping guide the Wolves to the 6A State Championship. Coach Clapp has additionally spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach with the Chandler Girls Program.

In Clapp’s three seasons at the helm of the JV team, his teams have posted a combined record of 29-20. A three year best in the JV team’s history.
Clapp went into coaching following high school and was at Mountain Pointe High School, prior to CHS, where he was the JV boys coach and the assistant coach for Varsity in 2015.  He has also previously served as an assistant coach for multiple boys teams at Aspire Volleyball Club.
Clapp is a 2012 graduate of CHS playing the Middle Blocker position in his junior and senior season on varsity.
Professionally, Clapp is a full-time employee at UPS.
